I’m a new 30k player. I’d appreciate feedback on the above list. It doesn’t have a Rite of War. I am using it as a basis for collecting and could lean into Hammer of Olympia at a later date.
The predators bring some siege flavour with grav. One leans towards anti-armour (las sponsons), the other leans towards anti-infantry (volkite sponsons). The mortis kheres contemptor brings midfield fire for the advance of the 20-man tac block.
The latter and the support squad are geared to provide some pinning. Will five rotor cannons be effective?
I plan on using terminators and a double-fist grav contemptor for melee/anti-infantry. Will the lack of dedicated transports hobble the termies? Or can they reasonably footslog while the rest of the army shoots?
Anti-armour capability is spread amongst the chain fist melee dread, Golg, and the heavy support. I’ve aimed for a reasonable balance between anti-armour, anti-infantry and anti-elite. I have four line units (three tacs, one termie command). Open to suggestions on improving composition.
Are there any other ways to get more heavy support slots?
Thanks.
