This is my first pass at a day of revelation army, 3k points. I would love advice and any tips that can be offered! Main idea is a more stationary death star of Raldoron with the crimson paladins in a land raider going up the board, tac squads to hold the back, and deep striking units placed aggressively turn 2.

Drop the assault cannon off your Angels Tears sgt and take 2 inferno pistols instead, if the enemy is in a transport you can pop it with him then shred the juicy insides with the assault cannons

The plasma support is pretty vulnerable without a transport, and you cant run 9 assaults you need a minimum of 10, if youre going for a deep strike strat id invest a little more towards that, maybe trade it for some apothecaries to support your dawnbreakers and some special weapons for assaults.

oh I'm dumb I thought assaults were a 5 man, like tac support

You may want to double check your angels tears cost, my 10 man with 9 assaults and dualies is like 375 points

340, I was off by more than a bit

so it all adds up to 2930, so 70 to play with for upgrades.

if I run raldoron with the terminators, does that make it so the paladins don't have to start in deep strike

Also Raldoron is only 180 points, youre up 5

what weapons do you give your squad?

I havent decided on which power weapons yet, Swords or Spears though, with Combat Shields and Inferno Pistols (Note: I like S8 AP1 pistols for deleting people)

They still have a 2+ save and 6++ invuln, but they dont need a primus medicae for Apothecary support

problem is I kinda want to use the paladins even though they are expensive and not great, cause they're pretty

I only run the one Dawnbrealer squad, kind of eggs in one baskety with Sanguinius, a Chaplain, and an Apothecary in it.

Oh also, the Moritat with dualies is very very swingy, but one of the best anti-everything models in the game, especially if youre lucky.

might cut a thing of dawnbeakers, add veterens, run the vets with raldoron and deep strike the pallies

Legion command squad fills the same roll with with artificer armor so also worth considering

Theyre combat shields not boarding shields, 6++ but retain extra attack
