Hi everyone! I’m wanting to start a new list for everyone’s favorite heretics. I’d like to shoot for something that sorta represents the WB’s penchant for tearing down and burning non-imperial religious icons. Something that could exist in that nebulous time between Monarchia and the heel turn to chaos

I know ashen circle is a good start but from there what would you guys suggest?

When you say fluffy, do you mean in lore units that they used, or units that it'd seem like they would use?

Probably destroyers and lots of flamer tac support squads?

If it's the latter, I'd imagine predators with flamestorm cannons and a pintle combi-missile launcher would fit your description of destroying non religious icons. You could add a hunter-killer missile for extra heretic building destruction

Another could be missile or heavy flamer heavy support squads in termites.

Heavy bombardment does tend to work on large scale destruction

Volkites are heat rays that flash-boil and explode targets, leaving little to nothing behind. Classic WB.

And God knows they're infinitely more effective than flamers.

Also good to note on the flash boil thing. I tend to think of them as a Star Wars style laser. But your example fits better into 30k

Arquitors can fit. I'd take the rockets.

You could even fluff it so that they play organ music or similar hymnals.

I just love aquitors. They kinda suck, but man they just look so good and fun
