Okay, that worked.

#

Clutters up the page when it's a longer list though

worthy kiln
#

we prefer that as it is easier for people to check as they offer ideas etc

#

and with threads / forums, clutter is minimal

bold bolt
#

Fair beans.

#

With this list I wanted to test out how much stasis is too much, while also packing a massive punch.
The praetor and jetbikes zoom around picking off important targets preferably with stasis on them.
The warmonger goes with the interemptors to make their short range less of a problem.
Apothecaries go with either the tacticals or one goes with the interemptors to make them survive for longer since they're footslogging like mooks. I'm not 100% on their loadouts, I think I mistook the augury scanner for a teleport transponder.

#

Thoughts? Condemnations? Advice?

#

The whirlwind and the land speeder are in there because I'm just stupidly in love with them and they pack a good punch that can threaten a large part of the board.

Most of the brothers are out and about unable to check up on this right now, I myself am about to head to work but I will check the list out when I am free.

Glory to the emperor, glory to the lion and glory to the imperial truth, may your dice roll true

I like it bit I'm not sure I would get the grenades in the tac squads, I personally find spending extra points on tac squads never seem to be worth it

#

I think if you dropped the power and combi weapons you could get another jav

#

Yeah I look at this and go it's a bit all over the place no rite of war will hamper this the deepstrike is unreliable as you could nuke the squad I'd suggest a dread claw or some kind of transport or nuncio voxes everywhere so you don't scatter

#

Firewing is a bit of a waste on the bikes as they don't really have good melee output they are more for shooting

I think its a decent place to get you started, this seems like a decent base to build from. You can tweak individual loadouts but the models themselves seem fine to me.

Yeah augury scanner basically prevents anyone infiltrating within 18" and also allows you to shoot at stuff that shows up within 18" as soon as they arrive. Once you get up in points a bit that'd be a great addition to say a molecular acid heavy bolter squad or maybe a missile squad (I like missile squads as they are pretty ubiquitous)

Also I disagree in re: tac squads; if you wanna give them an extra lunch I think that's fine, especially if you can proc your blade master rule or whatever it is off of sword based combat weapons. A lot of folks view tax squads as a "tax" but I feel they are a good core to customize and make part of your force. You can always make them despoilers to save a few points, i.e. just give them pistols and swords if that's what you intend for them.

Otherwise looks solid man, I'd put it together and get a few games in to see where you think you want to build from and what changes you might wanna make. Scorpius is a great choice that also looks great haha so agreed there

On the topic of tacticals, never discount the power of weight of dice.

#

I had one tactical squad wipe out a big unit of Angel's Tears with FotL, and another squad sergeant power fisted his way to victory against a BA assault squad. Granted that was with Alpha Legion so I had an extra swing but still

#

It's still a squad of marines

bold bolt
#

The grenade launchers on tacticals are there for redundancy, in case I miss with the praetor or the warmonger.

#

Probably a neurotic hang-on from playing dark eldar and Alpha Legion

Drop Firewing on the Sergeant, give it to the Praetor. Praetor'll live longer, which means better buff. If you want to charge that squad into melee for some reason, give the sergeant a melee weapon. Deep striking five Interemptors isn't worth an entire consul, especially since they don't have any melee output that'd justify a stasis grenade and will die on the crack-back. Deep striking a squad of Cenobium or combi-weapon Terminators will do work, however. Tactical squads should not have stasis grenades, especially at the cost of denying them vexilla and artificer on the sergeant, which should come first. Get artificer on both apothecaries before you buy them augury scanners - one's useful in every matchup, one isn't.

#

Yeah, the auguries are from me messing up. I thought they were teleport transponders.

#

I will drop those and instead put the upgrade on the tacticals I guess

#

Would 10 interemptors be a more worthwhile payload for the warmonger?

woeful bramble
#

Nah.

#

They get one turn of shooting and die.

#

Interemptors, in general, are just not worth it outside of ZM. 12" range on a 6x4' board is completely negligible.

bold bolt
#

Hm.

#

Termite?

woeful bramble
#

Termite works. Definitely cheaper than the Warmonger.

bold bolt
#

Okay. I'll sleep on that since I don't have a termite currently. And work on something else for the warmonger to carry

woeful bramble
#

Sounds reasonable.

bold bolt
#

I have a set of Deathwing companions but those don't seem worth it if they can't catch a ride or get teleported up

#

and they can't go on a bike to protect the praetor

woeful bramble
#

Correct, yep.

bold bolt
#

And I don't want to waste their cool sculpts by taking the termie variants

#

i mean i think at 1500 points interemptors with a warmonger is a decent setup
they have a decent chance of surviving if you also put an apothecary with them
