So this is my Archmegos on Abeyant that I made specifically for the high order of the Archimandrite.

Lore: So I haven't quite figured that out yet due to a multitude of things, but I will definitely give an update on that once the painting process is actually done. In the meantime you will have some real life lore. So one of the things I've absolutely loved about the mechanicum is the fact that they have a heavy theme of an undead army ruled by cyberlitches. as such when I saw the night-haunt character Kurdoss The Craven King I immediately wanted to use that as a basis for a more heretical Archmegos. Eventually I did pull the trigger and get what I originally thought were the only 2 kits I need for it but eventually as you will see it sort of Spiraled out of control.

The kits list: The Craven King, 2 archmeagos primes*, Onager Dunecrawler, Kataphron, Iron striders, STL bits from Rizzenvoth*, star wars legion riot control squad, And green stuff.
*Second archmagos Was not planned But well appreciated and the STL bits will be disclosed in the actual Parts list.

For ease of reading sake and my sanity I will be splitting up the parts list between the cyber familiar, the priest himself, and the Abeyant.

#

Starting with the priest.
The main body: Kurdoss
The arms, legs, Power pack, shoulder pads, tabard: mango's prime with a little green stuff to help with the joints.
The neck: Kataphron Gun Cable.
Incidental tidbit: On Halloween after I finish the model a 1⁄2 full soda bottle got dropped on top of it only knocking the priest off, bending the crown a bit, and causing one of the hands to fly off. The hand went to the nether realm somewhere but now the crown looks cool.

The cyber familiar.
The main body: one of the droid from the riot control box with additional green stuff work added to give it a butler's tailcoat and help stick the Kataphron chest plate on.
The head: Kataphron Head with additional green stuff work and sanding With a green stuff scarf added to help connect it to the body and act as a neck joint.
Right arm: Kataphron Flamethrower Section Cut off to add Archmagos volkite pistol.
Left arm: Kataphron Arm bits and shoulder pad, green stuff as a shoulder, and a thunder hammer arm from Rizzenvoth Magos builder.

The abeyant.
The main chair: Kurdoss with a Dunecrawler Undercarriage, Iron strider bits of its back engine and leg plating to add mechanical detail, Kataphron Gun tip, And a green stuff Drapings with an arch magos stomach symbol on the top of the chair.
The grav gun: Rizzenvoth Myrmidons with additional Mechanical arm from archmegos.
Cyber familiar platform: Top of Dunecrawler with Kataphron and Archmagos bit with green stuff to tie it together.
dendrites: Rizzenvoth Myrmidons with Archmagos.
The Model base: Aquarium rocks and various green stuffed mounds covered over with watered down Technical paint.

So progress report, After some time I finally finished painting the 1st part of my model in the cyber familiar Enλde.
Some quick lore,
No matter where Archmeagos Mε'draut γ03 is sent or goes you can always be sure that they're familiar Enλde Is standing at their side. Once a more standard familiar, as Mε'draut climbed the ranks of the order Enλde Would eventually be upgraded and tinkered with using secrets from the order cybernetica developing the familiar into a Paragon of metal.
The subsequent change were not just made to show off there intelligence and knowledge however, as Mε'draut Knowledge grew so did their pride and a disdain for getting their hands "dirty". Enλde name translated from the old taryn language it taken from meaning life Is nothing more then an ironic joke, as much of a paragon as they may be there is not a single bit of intelligence inside. Whether it be the Cyberneticus pre-programmed commands and actions or full abominable intelligence, in the end Enλde is an empty shell directly control and use as a conduit for Mε'draut will and cyberthurgy. After all as much as Mε'draut hate sullying their own hands they have no issues using others for the task instead.

Speaking of Mε'draut, I have started a bit of work on getting the metallics done. So next topic will most certainly be with them, always such a blast painting Mechanicum.

So I have another update as I have finished painting Mε'draut γ03.

To go along with this I guess I should give a bit more lore In brief this time.
Archmagos Mε'draut γ0is amongst the ranks of the Archimandrites the most wizened and cyberthiriically adept of the forge world inner circle under the Archmagos Intendant who rules over the world. Amongst this ruling council Mε'draut Holds the position of γ03 signifying his position and rank in the council with γ01 belonging to the Intendant. amongst the many different things the rank signifies the one most important to Mε'draut is when the Intendant dies the next in line is the one that holds the title of γ02. Adding further insult to Mε'draut the inner circle is temporarily disbanded as the members are repositioned based off of the knowledge, wisdom, and humility.

Many times Mε'draut Has been passed up the position of γ02, Though his power and knowledge was well respected. But the Intendant knew that his arrogance and belief in his own superior will would inevitably lead to if not the downfall of the world then a religious schism on Gamlon. Of course Mε'draut Didn't see it like that, as the inner circle was reorganized again and again his frustration grew soon seeing it as a slight against his own intelligence that he was not chosen to be γ02 and in turn the Intendant. As news of the war masters plans of rebellion reached the frozen world Mε'draut Would use it as a means to, as he saw it, take what was rightfully his.

So after some discussion with the other magi I have done a bit of green stuff work and I've added some respirators and a mechanical eye to the mask that I'll be painting up soon

All right, all painted up and looking nice. I especially love the look of the eye. Now on to the throne.

I haven't had as much time to paint as I would have wanted to for a variety of reasons but I have done some work on the throne so it's steadily coming along.
