So I need some help figuring out how to make a 1.5k starting list for Salamanders. Also how to fill out the remaining points in my list and what I might be able to cut out since I haven't really fully built anything.

First thing I noticed is you Master Crafted twice on Praetor, that's useless drop one

Master crafted on Apothecary is wasteful

Should give the Breachers a Nun Vox to help your Predator out

Also to negate -1ld during Nightfighting which for a 10man is helpful

#

Should give your Rhino a Multi Melta in case it gets ignored or can get a return fire off

#

Artificer for your Las Srgt

#

Your Predators lascannons will generally be out of range of your intended targets I'd do Culverans

#

For some Overwatch in case something gets through your lines

If you have the pts left over after any suggests you take up a 2nd Apothecary to raise your survival wouldnt hurt

Not really worth it, and it generally misses anyways

Well one of the few other armies I have that are mostly complete are Word Bearers, which have two dreadnoughts (a Contemptor and Leviathan) as well as a Vindicator.

I'm mostly going MSU on most of my units. Lascannon dudes will be hanging around with my Predator, Praetor might be hanging with Pyroclasts and Apothecary. Also, can Breachers take an apothecary? I might have my Champ with my Breachers as they'll make a good shield wall for him.

Cool, so that's apothecaries into the breachers and pyros. Champ into the breachers for the shield wall (might give them the rhino instead so they can drive up to the field). Praetor will be with the Pyros. Boxnought will get double Las though I might change it into a more melee dread to have something to somewhat match up against my WB contemptor dread which has a fist and multi-melta.

Meanwhile my HSS and Predator will be in the backline. I don't really have anything among the WB that can deepstrike into the back so I don't have to worry about that.

Exchange the Plasma for a Boarding shield

Having the negatives of heavy, but not even atleast the buffs is really bad

And honestly, that plasma is only likely to kill some nobody model or wound a basic termie

I've never had special weapons ever really do much independantly in 2.0

Yeah, somehow I missed it. Anyhoos, the reason I gave my praetor a plasma is because my intended model (which I may ultimately sell and replace with something else, or save him for some other purpose) has a plasma pistol.
