I've been asked to run a 2k game in the near future despite doing zero expansion to my collection since my last 1k game, so it's time to scrape the barrel of my collection for models. I can't really even ask "what should I be doing different" because I have little to nothing different to use, but I managed to scrape out 1995 points and I just need to know how thoroughly I'm going to be destroyed and how to best leverage what I have. I'm estimating maybe 20% chance I win against a random opponent. Which is fine.
"add more xyz" I have no xyz. I have like, five unfinished and unbased Rampagers, a melee Castraferrum, an unbuilt Land Raider, and a few characters on top of this, and that's it. I also have nine days to get everything together so I do not have time (or money) to order, assemble, magnetize, etc. I've already given up on "fully painted".
Praetor, Blood Hunger WT, paragon blade, jump pack
with 10 Rampagers, all falax, jump packs
10x Destroyer Assault, three power mauls
10x Assault, power fist and two power mauls
15x Tactical, bayonets, apothecary with chainaxe
15x Tactical, same
5x TSS, rotors
5x TSS, plasma guns
1x Castraferrum , twin las
5x HSS, autocannons
5x HSS, volkite culverins
Game plan: pray there are few terminators. Otherwise, fairly standard: post up the heavy weapons where they have angles, get the jump packs up the board, hold the line with tacticals. It's about all I can do with this. Why Blood Hunger? Because it's funny.
