That link doesn't work for me, could you post your list as text?
Oh wait nevermind it works now, new recruit was just being weird
Still a good idea to post it as text though
Can do, i put link first cos of text limit usually
Ok so:
- I wouldn't run broken claws unless you have a moritat or biomancer in the squad. You could also do farith redloss for the rad grenades.
- With just one interemptor squad, I'd give them a land raider (assuming you can get the points from somewhere else).
- At least with the missions I play, two line units isn't enough. In my last game I ran two tactical squads (plus 12 Thallax), and I lost one of the tactical squads to morale before I even got my first turn. If you only have 20 tacticals, at least give them rhinos.
And I'd drop off a lot of the random upgrades you have
Why a moritat or biomancer?
Like the spartan doesn't need a multi-melta, and rhinos don't need havoc launchers
You need instant death on their swords
Or else you just have worse cenobium
Moritat and biomancer will get you to the threshold
What I expect will happen is:
Your terminators will kill a lot of stuff, as will your excindios
While they do that, your tactical squads will get wiped and you'll lose the game on points
The list is fine if you're playing kill point missions though
I could drop the bikes maybe for another tac squad?
I can do that with dropping the bikes i think...
Especially with eskaton
My trick to playing Eskaton is to be hyper-aggressive
Take the midfield while the enemy is stuck slowly moving up the board
But that only works if you're not slowed by the difficult terrain
Ok 20 man tac squad, a 10 man with rhino, all lost bayonets and 10 man lost nucio, but was able to get a biomancer in
Do...rhinos get dreadwing due to being dedicated?
Yes, they must be the same wing as the thing they’re dedicated to. Which makes eskaton surprisingly good for mechanized infantry
Ok...wondering why i cant set them as dreadwing then...
You gonna want most things in either a transport or with a bike/jump pack just so that your own RoW doesn’t slow you down
But a giant tac squad is probably fine since its just gonna ideally park itself on an objective anyways and fury
Well thst and guide scorpius
Yeah they don’t really need to move much anyways
I have them set as firewing, incase i need to turn them on iron circle
For eskaton, all units selected as troops choices must be dreadwing. No idea why its allowing you to take firewing tacs
Oh no i mean the scorpius
Oh ok
Do the exindio have move through cover or any ways to ignore the difficult terrain penalty?
Im going to say no
If they don’t, they’ll be at i1 when charging through difficult terrain
Leviathans have move through cover, so I’d probably just take those instead
I want to try excindio
Amazing
Oh another tip, assault marines seem quite good in eskaton
I haven't had a chance to try it though
Will look into them at some point
