Pretty much as title. Looking to have a mix of fluff and function, I've not played HH, but I've done my homework on the game and know the rules to an OK degree. Mostly though, just wanted to get some feedback on this list before I commit to anything, see if there's anything direly missing, may try it out on TTS first.

I'm not too fond of Castellax in IH

#

I think Vorax are better

#

Gorgon armor is unnecessary on your iron father

#

I'd take a land raider for your morlocks

The castellax are not worth their points. You can switch them out for vorax.

There is a distinct lack of mobility on this list. You have lots of great units but they will be foot slogging up the field waring las fire

fervent shore
#

Medusan immortals aren't very good as elites. You take them as troops in company of Bitter iron

tranquil lily
#

You could switch the leviathan for a contempt or or two

fervent shore
#

Your gorgons I'm not fond of. Slow without a land raider. And nothing to alleviate the WS 4

#

Vexillas are unnecessary on gorgons

tranquil lily
#

Maybe switch the gorgons for a veteran squad with Melee weapons?

fervent shore
#

Only 3 line units is risky. I'd try to get a 4th

fervent shore

#

I would add some recon marines as a cheap line unit

fervent shore
#

You'd still have the speed problem that Gorgons have except now you also can't get a land raider without using up a HS slot

#

Recons with nemesis bolters are very fun, and also very good

Dual melee leviathan is awful

bold breach
# fervent shore Vexillas are unnecessary on gorgons

the Vexillas were really only there because because I wasn't sure how to fill 40~ points. As far as them being WS4, I had seen someone say that generally taking Graviton Shredders to concuss the enemy tended help with that

fervent shore
#

Give him a ranged weapon

bold breach
#

And I thought I had given the leviathan a melta cannon and then a siege drill

fervent shore
#

Also there are other spaces to fill those 40 points such as weapon upgrades

fervent shore
#

In that case, either swap it for a storm cannon or put him in a drop pod

tranquil lily
#

Yeah, I would either give the leviathan dual storm cannons got help with range

fervent shore
#

Leviathans are very slow and can be kitted easily, which both options I mentioned can fix

bold breach
#

gotcha

#

The medusan immortals I fully just forgot to move to troop slot

#

since I did list Company of bitter Iron as rite of war

fervent shore
#

Anyways, gorgons

#

Way I see it, you have two options with them

#

Either go for the gorgon flashbang by taking a warmonger

#

Or get a gorgon chaplain so that they can hit things well

#

Or just don't take them like I do

bold breach
#

what does the warmonger do for them?

Agree with the commentary above, the gorgon s and immortals are chewing up your points for slow units with mediocre output. I'd be looking at pivoting to company of bitter iron in general and turn those breachers into immortals too. Immortals in CoBI are king, outside CoBI are.... Eh

You've got a bunch of unnecessary upgrades on stuff. If you culled them down, you'd probs be able to fit another unit in

fervent shore
bold breach
#

and to be honest, they are there because I think they are cool as hell, I'll probably keep at least one squad

#

just for fluff

fervent shore
#

And deep striking gorgons is good because it means you can allocate wounds via the warmongers teleport and via any interceptors

#

Which

#

Can let you activate the gorgon flash thingy

#

AND deep striking can get you into range of multiple units so that you can blind those multiple units

fallen hatch
#

I really like the praevian and castellax. They're not good but they're cool. Great vibes, very IH

fervent shore
#

The vibes are good. But I can't deny the power of the bug robot

#

Also helps that they don't need cybertheurgy and high order buffs like Castellax do

#

Just get a cortex controllers near em so that you can control who they shoot/charge and they're fine

bold breach
#

I am not super attached to either automaton over the other, I just wanted to bring some cybernetica models for the fluff

#

If bug bots are better, then bugs it is

fervent shore
#

Anoda win for the Vorax regimeloldog

bold breach
#

my thought is that it's not worth the points to swap to the radgun, yes or no?

#

For the Vorax I mean

fervent shore
#

Lightning guns are fine

Really consider a raider for your IF/morlocks. If the gorgons get a warmonger then happy days, but the IF needs a delivery system too

Took your guys' advice, swapped some stuff around.

Dropped a gorgon squad, gave the other one Warmonger for Deepstrike Flashbang
Gave Iron Father and Morlocks a land raider
Swapped Castellax for Vorax
Swapped Volkite for bolters on breachers (for points)
Changed Leviathan Dreadnought for 2nd, less souped up Sicaran Omega (for points)
Added Recon Squad with Nemesis Bolters
Took artificer armor off of Immortals Sgt (for points)
