<@&877303985156030484> Looking to run this list in an event later next month and looking for peoples thoughts on it. I'm looking to run something different from the usual decap strike force so hoping this will be a bit more interesting for others. I think i'm happy with the balance of it but unfortunatley not been able to play any games with it yet try out so looking for those with more experience with RG to see if there are any obvious issue with the balance.

what unit do you plan to stick the librarian into?

because you dont really want to give models with raven talens a S boost, as it makes them actually worse against 2+ save models

yeah he was going with the DF's to make them more survivable but I see what your saying about the str increase. I wasn't settled on which disciple to go with anyway so will need to revisit that. Was also looking at both Telepathy and Divination as other options

telepathy is very strong, and not very liked by a lot of people going against it, and divination doesnt do that much for DF as they already have precision strikes

but using biomancy to increase surviveability is a decent use, and you shred 3+ save models even harder

So I'm guessing the rough game plan is

• yeet the Hermes in the direction of thing you want to kill
• drop the Furies in
• kill said thing

My only concern is that it might be hard to get the most out of the bonuses with only the two quick units in the Auxilia detachment.

Not a problem, per se, but just something to bear in mind. Will need some precision play on the table but I guess that's not a bad thing!

Obviously the stubborn is a good bonus for the rest of the aux detachment as well, especially with their Legiones bonus

there will be 3 units of 2 (2 units w ML and 1 w grenade) but yeah if they die early (which is likely with there lack of protection) the rest are unlikley to get anywhere quickly. Not sure if i'll be DS the furies or running them up the board, suppose will depend how much interceptor there is

Ah it's 3, cool cool (sorry, sometimes I struggle to read the BS output). I mean, you'll probably be fine, but if you find you need a bit more speed you can always tweak things around a bit

With regards the interceptor, I like a nice base of Recons with Nemesis bolters to make sure there are no Auguries come T2
