Looking at making a fluffy iron warriors and mech 3k list with lots of rad and phosphex weapons for that siege warfare "by any means" necessary vibe just curious what everyone thought

Howdy, if you’re taking that much rad, could well be worth taking splinter shells on those rapiers; you’d double your wound output on T4 base targets with rend as a nice bonus. Perhaps dropping the third tac squad as you’d still have 3x NV without, and getting apothecaries in your very limited scoring tac squads so they have meatier staying power whilst on objectives?

I’m assuming you’re taking autocannon son the Havocs?

Yeah I missed that. Those Autocannon havocs do work and really help to lock down tables

I run a pair of Sicarans normally, and have missiles on my havocs but yeah I agree. I didn’t even realise the rending rule allowed for an extra D3 when up against vehicles. Chipped quite a few away but getting free pens and then exoshock 6+ on the accelerators

Oh shit I didn't realise that about rending.....
