Appreciate some feedback on balancing force composition in this list. Does it need more shooting and less dreadnoughts?
I also have a Scorpius and Baal predators.

I could drop the jump dread and the Armistos since the high volume of volkite shots can make up for BS4. Add in three melta jet bikes, a scorpius and upgrade the land raider to all las.

You could even drop the sky hunters and tac squad and then run three units of 10 assault marines. Running two units of 10 assault marines and swapping the HSS to lascannons would be good too. The scorpius is great for anti infantry, marines and terminators as long as its staying still. Just some options. The HSS culverins are legit af as well. Having a nuncio vox would help with the scorpius if you can squeeze in the points somewhere.

Thanks. I would like to keep one assault squad at 15 because that makes the apothecary more efficient. I worry 10 men squads will get whittled down too fast. The lascannons have gone to my Iron Warriors and I want to test out choom with BA even if las is better. Agree with the nuncio vox for the scorpius. I could trade out the sky hunters for another scorpius and vox but it may be too “that guy” at 2k points.

Yeah two Scorpius it a bit much and in “that guy” territory. I’ve been toying with the idea of 10 or 15 assault marines as well so I’m curious to see how that goes. As far as apothecaries, I think it depends on your meta. Recon, seekers, and vets with nemesis bolters are everywhere now and they just kill those so fast.

Most people are still building armies where I am. I also just want to move my Sanguinary Priest out of my pile of plastic shame.

I’m thinking the sky hunters offer a slightly scary distraction to help complement my assault marine-chaplain blob and my Raldoron-paladin blob. Or else they’ll slip in and delete high worth vehicles or elites.

Ditched the sky hunters for the magna-melta predator. It has a larger threat range (50” v 40”) and more dakka (3 twin-linked melta shots plus 2 las) for about the same price.

Right now there’s a lot of good choices in that slot. Scorpius, HSS, and leviathan.
