Hey all!

<@&877301109348270080>

As the name reads, I'm wanting to build a smaller army than is typical for 30k for the sake of playing shorter games with friends and family. I normally play AL, which is who this force will almost exclusively be going against, so I'm a bit out of my element here and would appreciate any advice y'all could offer me over this list.

Legion: White Scars (Loyalist)
RoW: Sagyar Mazan
Points: 999/1000

HQ: Delegatus

  • Charnabal Glaive
  • WT: Heroes Never Die

Retinue: Command Squad (4-man)

  • 3x Combat Shields
  • 3x Power Swords

HQ: Stormseer

  • Force Staff

Elites: Contemptor Dreadnought

  • Gravis Power Fist w/ Combi-Bolter
  • Gravis Lascannon

Elites: Golden Keshig (3-man)

Troops: Despoiler Squad (10-man)

  • Legion Vexilla

Troops: Tactical Squad (10-man)

  • Bayonets

Troops: Support Squad (5-man)

  • Rotor Cannons
  • Augery Scanner

I get the idea this might look goofy without context, maybe still does even with it, but my thinking was primarily centered around utilizing WS mobility, courtesy of the Stormseer, to try and run across the board as quickly as possible and engage with the Command Squad, Despoilers, and Golden Keshig while the ranged ones follow just a step behind to cover their approach with pinning shots, hence the Rotor Cannon Squad (and Keshig again, pulling double-duty).

What power are you going to use for the stormseer?

Was thinking either Telepathy or Storm's Fury. Telepathy providing another source of pinning sounds good, and shutting down reactions too, tho Storm's Fury could be more useful for some added anti-vehicle or mobility with that fleet-granting power.

sounds good, the only downside to Sorm's Fury is that the stormseer can't move when giving fleet

I think that the list is fine, I would give the support squad something else if you choose for telepathy
