no idea if its really worth it, but with Pavoni it means Magnus can go 11 inches while still having a retinue that keeps up

given this is Panoptica and Centura, he can also use Sinistrum to get Fleet 2 and go 13

With Shields can also increase the invul with raptora for 5+ invuls

so I was intending on throwing the Primus down with Ahriman

honestly the Command squad with Magnus don't really need stacked durability as they're meant to be sort of ablative for him

Yeah the FAQ says that a Primark and his retinue are both considered for the 25% rule. You're spending 913 points so you need to be playing at minimum 3652 points before that would become legal

Aside from that, Magnus also is just a bit of a paper weight so he needs a competent supporting arm to actually be functional

I built a 4K list for him and feel a bit better about it

When your choice is Magnus or for a hundred points extra a super heavy with some utterly cracked AP die main weapon, Magnus becomes a bit of a hard sell

I mean like when compared to Magnus, a Falchion is very tempting

and sorta says a lot about Mr Red because superheavies arent the greatest in current meta

Fairly sure retinue units count towards your 25% LoW ap if taken on a primarch as of latest FAQ

So you'd need to cut them down to ~240pts
