never really valued science of slaughter, does nothing till the 2nd round of combat and by then the combat is more or less decided with that much of a points investment, id swap it to ardent defender for this you need a sure fire way to get a wound through could consider a photon on the arcuitors then its essentially assault blind and pinning. you have emphera incursus so u can -2 leadership then shoot them with pinning before you charge in. that way u aint overwatched. triaros isnt an assault veichle so we cant charge from them, but we just got access to mechanicum land raiders in the legacies pdf that might be worth considering

The issue is my guy is in fact not an ardent defender the warlord trait choice is pretty much entirely thematic
And also the arcuitors aren't running with the archmagos, he's going with the myrmidons most likely

I'd take the explorators from the pdf but they can't be dedicated transports and all of my HS slots are filled

Arcuitors also have like 2 wounds I'd honestly prefer to keep gets hot weapons as far from them as possible because I am notoriously bad at rolling 1s when things have gets hot
