i would recommend some AT, maybe lascannon/melta on the contemtor and/or replace the volkite with melta tatical support or lascannon/autocannon/missle launcher heavy support. Secondly with this list as is i would take another WL trait since without Allies this WL trait is useless, if you want the reaction in the same phase, take a look at the base WL traits in the Core Rulebook

Hard to play a game at 800 - most folks will go by 250-point increments.

I agree - pick a diff Warlord Trait at this early stage. Maybe switch the heavy bolter on the dread for something that can punch through armor better - the melta or lascannon are the typical choices, for good reason.

If you run a Praetor, try to find points for a paragon blade or thunder hammer. Part of their points cost is access to the good shit, so take it.

Thank you for the help I didn’t really know what the warlord traits did as I don’t have liber hereticus and the dreadnought is magnetised so I can just change that to whatever is most useful for the battle
