I have 174 points leftover in this list and I was wondering what you guys would suggest I do with it? I was thinking of getting a flyer like a Xiphon or some other fast attack, potentially another predator to have a separate squadron. I could also kind of kit out my command retinue a bit more or add some more Apothecaries.

Presumably Angron is riding with the Praetor and his goons in the Spartan?

You deffo have sufficient anti-infantry in the form of melee, Volkite, etc. The anti-tank is a little more iffy to me, but it’ll probably work as well

I was thinking of putting a 2 handed chainsword on the sgt of the 15 pt squad because I thought it looks cool lol

#

I'm not trying to be competitive but I also don't wanna get completely rolled.

Despoiler sgts with falax blades are an order of magnitude better than with a power fist imo

#

I’ve heard tales of people getting lucky and killing consuls in a challenge with such a lad

Unexpected mauling

I also just don't like power fists all that much. I think they look weird on regular marines

In Zerker Assault I like to run an Apoth in each of my big squads for the durability, the FNP can come in clutch if they take a mauling and going from a handful of survivors to a bigger blob keeps them potent. Arti Armour on them or the Sgt also helps you tank saves if you need to. It's a balanced list but I would look at a touch more anti tank, I run similar with the melta turret on my 2 preds.

AA = Artificer Armour and is absolutely in the "not get rolled" bucket. Giving him a diff weapon (power wpn, 2hand chainsword/axe, combi bolter, ect) is in the "rule of Cool" camp.

In fact, there's an argued to be made that running him naked is in the "competitive" camp since it looks like you're chasing points not models.
