A few thoughts (and this assumes you've got room to manoeuvre in terms of models; if the list is get-what-you-own-on-the-table then fair play)

  • personally, I prefer one gun/one fist on my Dreads so they can do stuff on the way to combat; you may have different experience of course. If you're going for full melee, you might want to consider fist+chainfist in case you bump into any tanks
  • Apoth with the Furies I assume?
  • not sure the upgrades on the Tac squads are worth it, but if dropping them doesn't give you enough points to do something meaningful then I wouldn't worry about it
  • see if you can jiggle some points around to make room for voxes on whatever starts on the board; I assume most of this is coming in via DS and the reroll scatter is invaluable

swapped tacs out for recon squads with shotguns for the concussion to help with the melee, and they have vox. also swapped a fist on each dread for a chainfist

I like that - I'm a big fan of the shotgun Recons, especially when you're going in for a melee build.

So what's the rough plan with the Characters? Spreading them across the 3 JP squads or are you piling them all into the Furies?
