How's the power level of your local meta? All those Dreads would be a pretty tough nut to crack

Yeah there’s about 20+ players of HH at our club. Varies I’m new their quite experienced. There’s an iron hands with loads of dreads, salamanders with lots of tanks & flamers, ultras with a super heavy baneblade & lots of their type breachers plus a couple of land raider Spartans. I played against to start with raven guard for my 1st 3000pts & 10 man game heretics vs loyalist. He had a large unit of furries a 15 man terminator squad a big unit of assault destroyer unit all with chaplains & apothecaries. So strong armies I think lol

So just as a heads up, unless everyone is going pedal to the metal waac, the usual rule of thumb is "one Contemptor per 1k points," with levis tipping the scale a bit more. I'm counting...6 dreads? Folks may straight-up not want to play against that list more than once, unless they're okay with a Fury of the Ancients-level of Dreads running around

That said, 3k is when lists really start to pack in the firepower so I don't think that dropping all the way down to 3 is necessary

I could tone it down then a bit though with 1 less leviathan & 1 less contemptor I could fit a unit of assault marines with combat shields & maybe add some apothecaries I want an infantry based legion with dreadnoughts as support with fire power & helping destroy tanks.

WB are an excellent Legion to go for an infantry-heavy playstyle, thanks to Dark Channeling and their LA making Leadership issues less of a big deal

They do great with large units of basic infantry, so like 15-20 models

I’d like an assault destroyer squad somewhere also & swap a Chaplin for a moraiat at some point.

Warpfire Moritats are great because they don't have Gets Hot, so you get the full 12 shots

That’s my thinking I could just add the mahar gal dreadnought & the 1 leviathan then add in those 2 squads. Then make the 2 squads together & add an assault squad & assault destroyer squad with moritat 🙂

Yeah, I would definitely combine the ten-model squads into single 20-model squads

Also consider how you're going to prefer to start getting Dark Brethren rolling - usual wisdom is 'point a lascannon heavy squad at a Rhino" but using dreads as long-range fire limits your options a little
