#Iron Warriors - 2,000 Points (Allies will be 1,000) - Is this good or should I change it?

Hey guys, I’m trying to make an army of Iron Warriors with TS allies but I don’t know if it’s viable or not, I just wanted to submit my IW first and see if they are viable before moving on to do the same for my Thousand Sons.

HQ: Cataphractii Warsmith: 155 Points. Combi-Bolter, Servo Arm, Power Axe, Warlord: Tyrant of Lyssatra.

Elites: Legion Contemptor Dreadnought: 175 Points. Gravis AutoCannon: +10 Points Havoc Launcher: +10 Points.

(5 Men) Legion Cataphractii Squad: 175 Points. Dual Lightning Claws: +50 Points.

Troops: (Compulsory, 10 Legionaries) Legion Tactical Squad: 100 Points. Legion Vexilla: +10 points, Nuncio Vox: +10 Points, Augury Scanner: +10 Points, Shrapnel Bolters/Bolt Pistol: +100 Points. Legion Tactical Sergeant gets Power Sword: +10 Points. Sergeant’s Artificer Armor: +10 Points.

(Compulsory, 10 Legionaries) Legion Tactical Squad: 100 Points. Legion Vexilla: +10 points, Nuncio Vox: +10 Points, Augury Scanner: +10 Points, Shrapnel Bolters/Bolt Pistol: +100 Points. Legion Tactical Sergeant gets Power Sword: +10 Points. Sergeant’s Artificer Armor: +10 Points.

At a 3000 point game you would only have 2 scoring units

and they are quite easy to kill

Probably should have an augury scanner on the heavy support squad

And maybe switch the cataphractii with lighting claws for dominator cohort which are the same points

#

also swap the heavy support squad for iron havocs think its only 10 points more with the same loadout

but get bs 5 and precision shots

Wait you said to put augury scanner on the heavy support squad but also to remove them, I’m confused.

take havocs instead of heavy support and put an augury with them

Where are the stats for iron havocs and dominator cohort? Liber Hereticus says fuckall about that.

so iron havocs are in the legacies pdf and dominator are in the exemplary of battle pdf

Why do I need to replace the heavy support squad and cataphractii with havocs and dominators again?

well havocs are just better heavy support squad

#

and dominator are just better at the same points as the cataphractii

Looks easy to convert too, especially havocs which essentially just look like normal heavy support.

yeah you don't have to do anything to a heavy support to make them havocs

For me I used the thunder hammer from the mark 3 sprue. 3d printing is probably the best way if you have one
