Hi there!

I am an 11th grader in high school who is very interested in n8n. Over the past month, I have been experimenting with AI agents, workflows, and APIs to automate different aspects of my life.

Recently, I’ve been wanting to take on more real-world tasks and challenges. That’s why I’m reaching out to ask if I could intern at your agency or organization to learn the ins and outs of automation. I want to try new APIs, solve real problems, and continue growing my knowledge of automation.

I also want to mention that I do not expect any salary or compensation — I genuinely just want to learn. If possible, I would love to receive volunteer hours since they are required for my high school graduation.

Here are a few examples of projects I’ve worked on so far:

  • A workflow that automatically emails university professors for potential research opportunities
  • A scraper that gathers professor details and stores them in a spreadsheet for the workflow above to reference
  • An automatic event scheduler for Google Calendar that uses the Superchat API and sends reminders through Telegram
  • Several other automation projects that are still in development

How much time do you think you want to invest? And for what time period?

watched some tutorials along the way of course but i figured out most of it myself

As for time period, i am ready to commit for a year, n8n is pretty fun and I want to actually start adressing real world problems with it

Anyways, good luck! Watch out for who you are going to work for btw. It’s not all beneficial for yourself in some cases.

Hey Fireflies. Congrats on getting into this early. That is a huge advantage for you.
I am actually starting my own site. I will be building out workflows for each operation I design.

I have a lot of workflows I would love to make but it will take time.
it looks like you have several others offering, too.

One workflow I would love to create is a scraping tool to gather ideas in niches, discover pain point keywords and phrases for that niche on reddit, quora, etc. Then do additional market research for viability. With this info we could create simple mock landing pages to setup and post in those reddits to get feedback and build a mailing list before even building the product itself.

My current skill level is integrating simple python with n8n and some projects I've made are a automatic agentic booking system with guardrails and auto-assigning an available worker to the job! :>

I want to say that I mainly want more of like a mentorship with someone who already knows n8n and can take me under their wing instead of just being assigned projects

Hey guys I’m 12h grade in Germany and I‘m also very interested in n8n. Currently I’m working on a new email lead scraper that works with google maps link and puts the link in the google sheet. I‘m doing this because someone asked me to generate leads and call them so I get provision. Does anyone in here have such a scraper? Would really appreciate it. Or in general does anyone else use N8n to make money?
