Hey everybody 🙂 ,

I am looking for friends/partner/collaborators/co-founders who want to join me building AI Agents to support music rights holders.

The problem: Lost, and therefore lower, royalties is an expressed top concern among many music rights holders

More information about the problem

  • Lots of royalties lost and unattributed to rights holders due to inefficient and outdated file management
  • Currently all publishers are building their own royalty-specific data systems through external consultants, which are often outdated (a lot of publishers I was talking to updated their systems in early 2010's)
  • One of the leading publisher in Germany had a 6 month AI Agent transformation in 2024, confirming the fit for AI Agents in this space

Solution Hypothesis

  • Unattributed royalties are caused by several factors:
    a) file sharing through email conversations (i.e. CSV attachments) often times fragmented across a lot of emails and missing discipline of royalty managers to ingest the data in their systems
    b) often times inconsistent structure of files (i.e. different column naming conventions)
    c) typos (i.e. song title is "youlovem" instead of "You Love Me" or it is "feat." instead of "featuring")
  • Building an MVP that can automatically detect emails related to royalty data and ingest, clean and process the data

I’ve been working on an MVP that automates royalty data processing—extracting CSVs from emails, cleaning them, and reconciling records to recover lost earnings.
