I am trying to create a 3.0 format yaml collection. There is no documentation.

I created a fresh workspace, new collection, connected to git, and it's still creating 2.1 monolithic json collections. What am I doing wrong?

Your agent is aware of the 3.0 collection, but has no ability to create one.

It looks like you're still using v11 and not v12

#

The new v3 collection format is part of v12

I'm on ARM64 windows. Is Postman 12 not out on ARM64 windows? I have tried updating and downloaded from the website

If the standard updater and the default ARM download are keeping you pinned to v11, it's because the native Windows ARM64 build for v12 hasn't fully rolled out to the main channels yet. However, you don't have to wait to use v12.

Here is how you can get v12 running on your machine today:

Download the x64 Version: Go to the Postman downloads page and explicitly download the Windows (x64) installer rather than the ARM64 one.

Run via Emulation: Windows 11 on ARM will seamlessly run this x64 version using its built-in Prism emulator.

Sorry for the AI spam, hope this helps

While running the x64 version on an ARM processor might have a minor performance overhead compared to a native build, it will successfully bump you up to v12 so you can use the v3 collection format right away.

seems like a win / win to me, yay postman

Yeah. I know all of that. I was hopeful we were past the point of ARM64 being treated like a second class citizen, but apparently not yet.

It is not clear at all that the new features are not available in the ARM download yet. I had to come here. This either needs to be updated or the download message on the website needs to be very clear that it has none of the newly announced features.

and everyone seems to hate ARM :I

ARM is the future of AI LLM compute imo

NVIDIA Jetson product line is ARM-based.
