#Please add characters slot for every class!!!

ive deleted a 19 wiz and a 20 priest to try other classes, its horrible
there is 5 slots for characters. which leaves enough room to have a character on literally every class...
i only have 4 slots, not sure how you have 5
If you scroll to the right there are 5 c'mon now
nope
only 4 and no option to add one, i can press Q and E and it loops back to first character
Oh okay yeah nevermind it says you have to have purchased a different edition I guess
Just looked it up
when i had the regular v of the game. i had the option of playing 5 classes im pretty sure. if you hover your mouse on the right side does it show a little thing lol
you trolling
you can get the last slot by purchasing the premium edition, imo that's perfectly fine
I agree BUT! Everyone who bought the game before wizards release should get 1 slot for free since they added that slot to the founders pack later.
lame money grab imo
I wonder if they add a slot once paladin comes out
that will be another $10
pretty sure they've said they'll just include the extra slot
if you play so much to play all classes to high level, it's really not that unreasonable to pay extra - it's a totally extra thing anyway
Its not
its literally content that acessible to you for buying the game being locked behind an additional paywall
I have the basic version and I have experienced all content.
The game is quite cheap as of right now. I know it's not the same technical issue but I remember the time of memory cards and limited save slots.
I feel like an extra character slots and extra stash tab for the premium version is fine. You can still play everything, no in game avantage
But don’t you want everyone testing out ALL classes to fix the game?
the only people who are playing 5 classes so much that they are reaching 20, solid understanding etc. on all of them are playing so many hours they should pay more anyway
The issue more so being paying additional for access to base content in an EARLY ACCESS GAME, last season the player base dropped to 50 active players due to them not listening to said player base. This is an EA game which can literally never release or become dead, also EA is supposed to be the point where players are basically paying to test a game for devs - so having access to all available base content would be expected.
More so on release the Founders edition on the steam page did not include an extra character slot, after the free weekend/wizard update they included the extra character slot on the Founders edition page. Basically a fuck you to all the people that bought the game on release expecting to have a slot for every class. This gives me the feeling that more predatory tactics will be used in the future, and this is not a consumer focused decision.
DaD had this similar issues with class slots and classes and the players got mad so they made it free.
Now we're seeing games like DaD that are still in EA have seasonal transactions - the game turned into a money printer so what gives the incentive for them to actually finish the game and take balancing serious when they're making plenty from microtransactions?
I feel like the gaming culture has shifted over the last few years from expecting companies to release good products to deserve support and we used to be doing the devs a favor by purchasing EA games, but now the devs are doing us a favor and any game that has potential means we are expected to give them all of our money?
They have numerous game breaking bugs, very poor QoL that plenty of $10 indie games blow out of the water (seriously did any of the devs play test this? not being able to shift click items/easier equipping and dropping, auto sort, etc. - all stuff I would expect to be implemented already in a 2025 game, the game can't even remember which server I want to join, for a few weeks after release it couldn't even remember if you wanted solos or trios), their balancing has consistently shown that they are incredibly inexperienced in this. What they have shown in these aspects makes me think they are not in the position to charge for character slots.
This is just my opinion, I understand the argument that if you're playing that much you could pay more, but from my view point they haven't done enough work beyond making a game with potential to deserve more money until they show that this game is going to have a future, and again with the very questionable balance changes I am not convinced this game is going to survive.
sorry for the wall of text, I'm still mad about this topic
Maybe for you? i didnt upgrade and just have the basic version 4 slots. Not all of us can afford an upgrade.
