#have the devs ever tried playing the night time map in a bright room?

Bring a lantern? It's supposed to be harder to see at night...
I turn other lights off for the night map, it does make a difference. It's immersive too. 😁
GL playing night at 3pm without blackout curtains tho!
It is hard to see, as expected. I'm new (20 hours played) and Greenwood night, at night, is awesome!
Night map is the rouges map
Every map is the rogues map....
I make sure to do the night map at night...in a dark room... it's more immersive until my kid comes running and breaks the mood singing xD
hey man ive been there but ya gotta learn its a skill issue when you accept that you get better
Came here to echo this. Please add a contrast adjustment setting. I'm playing in a room that gets outdoor light and I can't see anything. Don't have this issue when I play in the dark at night.
Not gonna lie man, blackout curtains are AMAZING for gamers. You can get them pretty cheap on amazon and the difference they make is hugeeeeee!
I get it, but my apartment floorplan isn't set up for that. Contrast adjustment is a pretty standard setting - I don't think we're asking for too much here.
Your windows can use blinds or curtains? (just curious)
There is a small window above the patio door that doesn't have any installed, and I'm not going to install one.
Really weird take that everyone is on board with all players investing in black out curtains, or playing from their mom's basement, instead of just acknowledging that a contrast adjustment setting is missing and should be implemented.
Sleep during the day and play at night like a real gamer
Even in Greenwood Day, there are rooms where I can barely see anything. I would really appreciate an option to adjust contrast or gamma.
Do u guys still play on old glass monitors or some shit? I have 3 cheap ass budget screens and I'm sat next to 2 huge windows that have direct sun from morning to evening and glare is hardly ever an issue
Playing via GeForce now on a 2025 Macbook Air
Mac doesn't include anti glare in their overpriced PC's? Tsk tsk
the devs dont play their game
The first suggestion is to use a lantern. Technically you really should have to in night to be able to see.
The problem is, lanterns draw PvP like mosquitos to a blood bank. Especially rogues.
So we come the more realistic solution where everyone turns their lights off and puts a blanket over the monitor to see. Which makes it a much more immersive and spooky experience.
@cerulean night I also sometimes play on a Dell UltraSharp monitor. Same issue overall, the contrast/brightness in the game is often too dark. And I travel, so I can't always play inside a "dungeon" with dark curtains.
Try turning off lumen. It makes everything super bright and shadows basically non existent
„Dccw“ command in windows - I heard from a friend
