Navigating to the next and previous page on Firefox, etc, I can see the page tend to scroll back to the top of the page instead of at the scroll position where the previous page is left at. IIRC it was patched to scroll back to top. Do we have a way to remember the last scroll position?

Even though there is compatiblity with browsers that don't support VT (see https://docs.astro.build/en/guides/view-transitions/#fallback-control), that sounds like a bug to me. Can you create a small reproduction? (cc @sharp osprey)

Perhaps you can testing in your Firefox, it's only 2 lines of VT code and that will be reproducible on desktop. I read the docs on: Scroll position is restored if necessary which isn't clear to me as it's based on which fallbacks.

Even though that the teams has accepted VT proposal and not yet implemented.
