If you are having login issues, it appears to be a reigonal issue (potentially east coast USA) with Microsoft servers. Ultimately, Microsoft needs to fix this, however, using a VPN to login to a different region should work meanwhile. You can disconnect from VPN after logging into the launcher.
If Microsoft does not fix this, we will look into solutions to work around this!

To be clear, we categorically reject any claims that Feather is engaging in fraud or deliberate wrongdoing. That characterization is not accurate and does not reflect how we operate.
Feather is a product-focused company. Our priority has always been building and maintaining a strong launcher experience for the Minecraft community, and that continues to be our focus.
Ads are part of how we support the platform and enable continued development, and we operate within the frameworks of established ad providers and the broader advertising ecosystem.
We do not run or refresh ads when the launcher is minimized or closed, or in a way that generates unintended ad activity.
Some of the discussion focuses on technical behaviors and infrastructure used to test and optimize systems in real-world conditions. These are not user-facing products and do not impact the player experience.
We are continuing to operate as normal and stand behind how we run the business.

Ive seen a bunch of questions about the video. One of the main claims is that ads keep refreshing when Feather is minimized and that’s not true. We put together a quick clip showing how it behaves here: https://youtu.be/IP36nk0ttvM
Also, in the video itself, there’s a lock screen example with only a couple of ad fills over about an hour. That doesn’t match the claim being made and proves ads aren't running continuously. There is only two "ad_filled" after supposedly running for 1.5 hours.
A lot of what’s being shown is being interpreted in a specific way, and we don’t agree with the conclusions.

People keep asking us about the domains, this is not malicious.
We use multiple domains primarily for A/B testing, running new scripts, creative, and configurations on small traffic segments before broader rollout. This is a common setup across applications and is consistent with ad vendor policies. It does no impact on user experience.

I am happy to announce that I have acquired the Feather Client. I believe Java needs a launcher that puts its players first, runs lightweight, and pushes the ecosystem forward. Feather was the foundation and now it's time to build on it.

Dawn is going to become the official launcher of MCPVP.com - The Minecraft PvP Ranking system founded by Mc Tiers & PvP Tiers..This means that:
Tournaments will require launcher use, so we can verify the legitimacy of tournament winners.
MCPVP is the next big thing in Minecraft’s competitive scene, we are proud to be part of it and push the PvP community forward. This is going to be crazy.
Feather earned its name as the best modern PvP client and we're proud of that. But we want to expand. Be something bigger.
My vision for Dawn is simple: the most widely used launcher in Minecraft, second only to the vanilla launcher itself. Be the most lightweight, the most optimized, the most advanced launcher the game has ever seen. One launcher for **PvPers, modders, casuals, content creators, server players and owners. **Everyone.
Dawn will stay the #1 PvP client. We are going to implement PvP improvements that will change the game. But we're also building everything around it so this client works for every kind of player.
InPvP will invest millions over the next 12 months into this venture. I am all in.
By the end of this summer, every large Minecraft server, competitive player, and content creator will be partnered with and using Dawn.
