Make sure you are allocating the right amount of memory to the game

You can change allocated RAM in settings in the bottom left of the launcher
If you have 4gb RAM on your computer, allocate 2gb (around 2048 MB)
If you have more than 4gb RAM, allocate around half of your memory up to 4gb (recommended)
If you're using some bigger mods then you may need to increase your allocated RAM accordingly

2. Open your Feather Clients Server folder and copy the path.

3. Download the forge jar and run it.

4. Click the "Server" Install Option in the forge installer.

5. At the bottom right corner above the cancel button, theres
   3 dots. Click on the 3 dots.

6. Using the File Manager that just popped up, paste your path in the text field at the bottom of the window. Use Ctrl + V

7. Click Install.

8. After its done installing, open your Feather Clients server folder again.

9. Rename the "Forge-(Numbers).jar" to server.jar. Run your Feather Client Server and you should be good to go!

ok well nobody in the minecraft server helped me but almost every launcher i try including feather and legacy has minecraft crash when it tries to open it and i have no idea how to fix it

it does successfully launch using technic launcher for whatever reason, i can send the feather log

i looked up the code the minecraft launcher gave me and apparently i have to update my graphics driver which i already did

every mod is off and every texture pack has been removed from the folder just in case one of those got corrupted

• Uninstall Feather client via Control Panel .
• Go to C://Program Files and make sure "Feather Launcher" is deleted.
• Go to appdata -> .minecraft and delete every single folder with "Feather" on it's name.
• Empty your "mods" folder either by deleting it or renaming it to any random name.
• Go to appdata and delete .feather
• Make sure that you don't have any Antivirus or VPNs enabled that might interfere with the Feather client.
• Download the latest version here: https://feathermc.com/

cool i did all that and now its stuck on Version Loading after pressing play

relaunched the launcher and it went past version loading but the game still crashed

its not really an issue with the client i think just something with the actual game that minecraft launcher and feather launcher both access but technic launcher does not

-1073741819 is a common error that occurs when the game tries to access a file that is being copied. or if you have incompatible, corrupt, missing, or outdated drivers. Ensure your gpu and all of your computers drivers are fully up to date first. If that doesnt work, try uninstalling and reinstalling minecraft itself.

Please take the following steps:

• Ensure that you have a premium Minecraft account. We don't allow cracked players to use our client
• Make sure you are using the correct login details
• If you have not logged into the vanilla Minecraft launcher, please try doing so.
• If you are logged into the vanilla Minecraft launcher, try logging out and logging back in again.
• Delete the accounts.json located in %appdata/.feather
