I'm getting lag spikes/frame skip every few seconds. How do I fix this?
What I tried:

  • Using Lithium, Sodium, Indium, Memory Leak Fix instead of Optifine Fabric
  • More RAM Allocation (2GB -> 3GB)
  • VSync (made it even more worse, it shows black screen shortly every time frame skip happens)
  • Matching FPS with my monitor (60 FPS)
  • Disabling some mods
  • Restarting
  • Logging out and logging in
  • Reset Windows
  • Remove resource packs

My FPS goes down (like 120 -> 99) every time lag spikes happen

Hello there! this issue can be tricky, however heres a few things we can try!

1. Deleting cef_cache
2. Replacing Hosts File.

Here is how you delete cef_cache:

  • Go into %appdata%
  • Head into .minecraft
  • Go into a folder called feather
  • Delete the folder called cef_cache
    after all that, relaunch!

just cuz its mc outages doesnt mean its from just the minecraft launcher, it can be from literally any launcher, and there would be so many more reports if it was the main launcher. normal launcher also works fine for my friends and for me. check the lunar discord lol theres none of this, also cloudflare shows that the feather api is down
