Hi all, New here, I'm guessing this is answered somewhere but I couldn't find it.
I went to the Unity Archive to download unity version 2021.3.44f and it says beside the download that it has a security vulnerability. Is the version there patched? should I use that? Is there a different version I should use? Thanks

qualche giorno fa un Dev esperto consigliava la .21 rispetto alla .44

Hi Thanks, I was actually trying to start using the newer one, going from .21 to .44. Either way, both have the same problem. So, I don't feel safe using them. Do you just use it and "hope it doesn't happen to you".
According to Unity's web site using either of these versions the "Unity Editor is susceptible to an unsafe file loading and local file inclusion attack depending on the operating system, which could enable local code execution or information disclosure at the privilege level of the vulnerable application." I have no Idea what that means but it sounds scary LOL
