Hi all,
Having had several meetings now with groups of old and new users, I'd like to provide feedback that the new 'clean' UI is far to clean. In particular the 'unmute' button is hidden under the 3 dot menu which makes it unnecessarily hard for new users to find it. Similarly the options for picking microphones/camera is now hidden 3 layers deep in settings as opposed to readily available on arrival.
It was already made harder to find how to turn a camera on with the pervious UI update, but I'm concerned the running theme for the UI is to hide more and more core functionality from users. If I didn't know spatial supported voice and camera already, as a new user I would now likely come away thinking it was a game platform with a only a text chat (sometimes) and not the rich social platform it is!
