My whips appear to be blessed but they aren't

whips can no longer be blessed, this is intended.

Yup, as @fierce badge said, whips can no longer be blessed to permanently remove their blessing. “Blessing” a whip is now called prestiging it, and instead of removing the curse off of it, it unlocks the alternate skin for it
