I personally like this, but I know for certain that it isn't intended.
You can do it by clicking the button before it unlocks. Solution seems simple to me, just hide the button before you unlock it

You need the foundry for making CCs for use in the sandbox.

Then make it always unlocked in the sandbox...

And since that is unlocked at the start, so must the foundry.
I agree it's odd to have it unlocked on the level tree.

I mean...the old godot version had it hidden before you had it unlocked
