Hey guys! Wondering if anyone add any advices regarding what type of colliders and other Physx parameters values to set for an insertion task of a complex rectangular volume into a metal box.
The metal box is composed of 4 parts (sides, top, bottom tray). I tried convexdecomp, sdf, etc. but the computer array "still goes through"/tunnels the metal box - unless I force the box to be kinematics. I tried adjusting contactOffset, of course adding friction/restitution, augmenting the time steps, enabling CCD, etc.
I wonder if anyone had any advices for such tasks (contact-rich object insertion task of complex computer arrays into complex metal box) and similar experiences (objects always tunneling through thin mesh)? Thanks a lot!
