#Nerf alien tech research time or scorps production

Aliens can get to scorps too fast compared to humans getting tank/air, and scorps are better then most of the early to mid game units of human, I feel like there is three choices
Nerf scorps armor
Increase alien research cost / time
Increase scorps / greater spawning cyst cost

I think Alien research time could do with a nerf. Maybe 80 seconds per level, that gives humans a full extra minute for aliens to get to tech 3 with 20 seconds per level.

Not a huge amount, but enough to at least let humans get a HAC or two out or be a minute closer to getting an air factory up.

If you increase greater cyst or scorpion price then aliens are going to have a super tough time mid-lategame with the knock-on effect that will have.

Yeah, I absolutely agree. Alien tech build time is shorter, upgrade time is shorter (60s vs 95s) and Alien can start to build greater spawners at Mark1 already + their scorp and greater cyst build time is shorter as well. This gives them a 5min advantage in early game before tanks roll out. It is very difficult to take out a scorp with a hac. I would suggest maybe to allow building human heavy fab at mark1 and maybe reduce building time of tanks.
