2 problems exist:
-
you have to currently micro an ai unit to defend your harvester as it moves around dumbly or assign an fps players to stand near it the whole early-mid game
-
if a crab gets on top of a harvester it’s super tedious to deal with and they can just sit on top and avoid all fire. An fps players can climb up and try to kill them but it takes long and they might die anyway. Excluding situations where the harvesters has a driver.
These can both be solved in a way that makes the game less micro heavy, less cheesy, and more intuitive. Have a few mount spots on the harvester where when infantry mount it they can shoot at incoming enemies. Just don’t add too many mount spots harvesters should still be vulnerable targets.
