this is one of the reasons i created [PlayImageSequence], though that's more of a workaround than a solution...

I think this might be difficult with the current Media Foundation implementation for the video playback.

On the other hand: The video engine HAS a loop mode which I would expect to work without seeking...

#

For short video-loops playing an image sequence might also be a work-around, because this resources will be cached.
