Might be a role bug, report this in #1023674756286922832 , and state what you have done and still can't spawn the plane

I think, that you can't enter it. Because the plane you try to enter in is controlled by AI. So you can't do it.

I too can't enter it, but it shows me nothing so it means that it controlled by AI.

I think it's an update to roles, which makes you unable to fly planes as an Officer, maybe your now required to be Captain in order to fly planes...
