When trying to play with frineds, no server can be found from the list, and joining via STEAM friends list it connects to some public server.

Have you tried others hosting, friends only/public etc

i see servers on the list, but i don't see his (or he see mine) when hosting..
and if we connect via steam friends list, it connects to some public servers straight out the bat.
There appears to be no way of sorting servers?
like the server list is full or something

Even if i restart the game and try to direct join my friend from the steam friends list, it connects to that same server (no idea what it's called).
!!!!
Afte verifying game files, and launching the game, it showed my profile on the low left. Before it only said "redacted" so i'm assuming it didn't recognize the steam profile.
Now when i searched, i found my friends host.
