You aim with both eyes open when shooting with these optics. Depth perception makes it so in real life all you really see is the reticle superimposed over your target.

No other game that boasts realism has yet to implement such a feature, and this would be such a good QOL update too.

Dagger directive does aiming like this, it’s pretty neat.

But in real life you can still see the housing of optics even while utilizing a both eyes open shooting style.
