When you run out of ammo irl with an AR-15 style rifle you can feel and even hear and feel the bolt lock back Developers should add this with weapons it’s a little detail that can be useful I’ve seen multiple people shoot the exact number of round the mag holds and not noticing the bolt is locked back before they try to shoot again since they didn’t hear/feel it in the game

same with the little sound a rifle does when you only have 1-3 round left in your mag could be nice to hear those

IRL it’s a very faint sound and a barely different feeling, so it’d have to be subtle.

Also guns don’t make special noises when you’re down to the last few rounds, that’s something video games made up

You can feel the bolt locking back but again, it’s a subtle feeling as it happens while you’re still absorbing recoil, so it’s very easy to miss, particularly when you’re wearing tactical gear and in a gunfight.

The last few rounds in a mag do not make any different noise. They make the same exact noise. I’ve shot lots of ARs with Pmags, stanags, promags, etc. They don’t have any mechanism to make a different noise when you’re low on rounds.

You absolutely cannot physically “just feel” when it’s close to empty unless you take the mag out and guess the weight (or look down the top of it). You can have intuition on when you might be low on rounds, but that’s something you should do in your brain and not in game.

You mentioned a different noise, not a different feeling for the last 1-3 rounds, so that’s what I was replying to
