I've noticed a number of new players oftentimes having the same issues, primarily not knowing how to equip nods, and not understanding eye relief. I think I remember there being a small tutorial type thing that told me how doors work and how to customize my weapon, but I think eye relief and night vision should be mentioned somewhere in there.
