Otherwise this is really a totally subjective question with no answer. How does anyone here know what you would consider "good"?

or even just other examples configs in general to see how i can improve mine.
basically i started with PMM january of last year and its come a LONG way since, so i kind of need to overhaul my old code.

"Improve" how? You have a config that you feel is lacking somehow. Performance? Doesn't include collections you think you might want? Overlays? No one can guess that.
There's a showcase channel where people have posted things they've done; perhaps that can provide some ideas.
Otherwise, if there are specific things you've after ask about those, otherwise no one has anything to go on, and probably no one wants to go to the effort of making suggestions that you are already doing or aren't interested in.
Most of the changes have been in new defaults and bug fixes, and those are all documented.

ok well im getting a ton of errors. its a case of starting over or hunting down the bugs/syntax errors.

Trying to avoid "errors" by starting a new config without understanding what's causing the errors seems like it's likely to lead to more errors.
