#Can I use "Award Collections" to add an overlay instead of creating a Collection?

Trying to create an awards overlay, but currently it's only linked to 1 IMDB list. Can I use the "Award Collections" default as a way to apply the overlay without creating a Collection?

If not, is there any documentation on what lists are used for these default Collections?

Please complete #938455615741775902 and someone from the community or one of our <@&938443185347244033> members will respond when they're available.

Including the meta.log from the beginning is a huge help use !logs for more information.

The yaml files behind the default collections/overlays are all in the defaults folder in the repo; you can find all the lists in the yamls there.

You can't base an overlay on a collection that doesn't exist in Plex.

Thats cool, thanks. I was just struggling to find good up to date lists for Movie / Shows

You could create your own overlay based on whatever criteria you wish.

I have created my own overlay, but i needed more lists

#

I was hoping there would be a way to leverage the filters PMM uses to create the collections, but for an overlay

It's possible that something like the IMDB 250 collection and overlay are using the same list, but there's no provision for "apply this overlay to the items that 'Collection X' would have contained were it to have been created"

It's all good, I should be able to use the yaml files to create the lists I needed, they have actually given me a pretty good baseline to work from

also didn't help i wasnt familiar with imdb lists, but the urls provided have helped a lot

#

One last question if you have the answer, what do i need in the URL to filter by Movies/Shows?
