Steve

Part of the way I help my friends and family navigate my large Plex collection is by pinning certain collections to the top of the Library view. This works quite well but I’d like to automate it a bit more to make it easier to manage.

This is the use case:

Rotate Genre Collections: I have all my genre collections pinned to the top of the Library and Collection views. There are a few that I’d like to rotate in and out of the Library view to lessen the total number of pinned rows on that screen.

Essentially I have 32 combined genres/sub-genres and while I’d like to keep them all pinned on the Collection view, I’d like to limit the number seen on the Library view to 24.

I’d like to be able to keep 18 of them showing all the time (which I can do now), but have the other 14 rotate in and out of the remaining six spots.

So when PMM runs each time the pinned collections in the Library view will switch up.

I may have worded some of this unclearly, if anything needs a further explanation, please let me know.

This is my absolute most desired/anticipated feature for PMM. I think this is covered in a planned feature request already though.

While I would also love the feature you linked to this is for scheduling what collections are pinned to the top of the Library view, not collections on the Home screen. Similar but different 🙂
