I would like to know if there is a way to schedule overlays to run on a different schedule or should I simply run them in a different PMM docker to isolate the processes ?

Including the meta.log from the beginning is a huge help use !logs for more information.

currently, my pmm takes 9 hours to run ... i'm looking for optimization

You can utilize the caches to take some time out, and schedule various things to happen less frequently.
