i looked through the log and couldn't figure out what the cause is. But it seems to have got an error in the middle of Mediastinger.

Including the meta.log from the beginning is a huge help use !logs for more information.

This error seems fairly unambiguous:

[CRITICAL] | Failed to Connect to https://api.themoviedb.org/3: Expecting value: line 1 column 1 (char 0)

PMM couldn't connect to TMDB, so the process failed.

is that just a fluke issue? as in, is this something that i can help prevent? or is this just a random error. never seen it come up before today. but today, i've seen it a couple of other times

It's not something you can do anything about. PMM made a request [the same type of request that it had just done a few hundred times for the other things in that list] and this time it failed.

BTW, the same answer applies for most similar errors. A timeout or a problem with something coming back from an external source is not something PMM can affect generally and is usually a transient issue.

depends on the specifics, but that's PMM asking a server for something and the server saying "I don't have that"

i think i figured out what happened on the 404, Radarr upgraded Top Gun mid run and so it did cause that error
