I'm trying to completely re-do my overlays in TV shows so I simply added the following to my config.yml and commented out all the other overlay lines
overlay_path: - remove_overlays: true # Set this to true to remove all overlays
Sadly, I get the following error when running the library and I can't seem to trace it back

Yes, token will change as a result.
This doesn't seem like a token thing, since that would have failed sooner when PMM tried to connect to Plex.

Did you tick the "kill all existing sessions" box [or whatever the text was]? If not, the existing token may have remained valid.

well, to add fuel to the fire, when I try to pull up Plex in a browser I get "No Content Available" so that's freaking promising...
I think my preferences.xml is jacked

FWIW, fixing my Plex server fixed this.
