I could create People collection posters so easily... just add a text overlay on the existing TMDB image

The default metadata already has many of that very thing.
Also could be scripted fairly simply if you want a different type.

What is the style out of curosity
Bull’s script already supports more than 1 style, no reason it couldn’t be adapted to suit your needs if it is feasible
Chaz also has a poster creation script that supports different styles i believe

Just the fonts and a recipe.
- grab TMDB image
- convert to B&W
- apply border
- Draw text
- save as whatever

I also have these templates with 6 different signature fonts, so they aren't all exactly the same
but I don't necessarily have to be that complicated lol

Sure, that's all manageable with parameters. they look like variations on a theme. different font, position, number of lines

There's the posterDB, but there's not a central PMM one for user images.

I know I can do it on The Poster Database, but that's not as useful for people posters en-masse

But you can host your own and then have a README in the configs repo with some examples and a link to your own repo

Or if it lets you export layers individually that may help
Just the border bit and if you are using any kind of gradient or fill/filters on top of the base image

Yeah I'm doing a lot of subtle effects/blending, but for this purpose I'd make a simpler version
