Hello everyone! I'm DJ! I am currently working on a new Discord Bot for use with trade in Star Citizen.

I'd like to use this forum as a place for you all (a wonderful star citizen community) for suggestions, feedback, updates on progression, etc..

My vision for this bot is to provide a myriad of features/ tools for the community. Community driven/ updated item pricing and locations. Cargo/ Mining/ Salvage profit calculator. Many other ideas. I'd like to make this discussion open to all to provide your own ideas for what this bot can do.

  • As we are just getting things started, structure in how we wants posts to be made is still up in the air. For now, open posts without any kind of template is perfectly acceptable, subject to change at anytime.

Targeted Discussions: Reply directly to templated posts to ensure those discussions are not easily buried.

As I've only recently started the project, progress will be a little slow as I get most of the boilerplate code written.

Some of the first few things I will focus on is the internal functions for working with the database and getting it populated with initial data (categories like commodities, ship parts, locations, etc). dummy data like initial prices will be put in.

I'd like to hear ideas on how you'd like to interact with the bot. buttons, commands, embed messages, etc..
